When Food Takes Over

Today began my journey to figure out why my stomach has declared war against the rest of my body. Three weeks of incredible discomfort was all it took to start a food elimination diet.


I'm already dying.


I woke up this morning craving cheese. Isn't it crazy that my mind has conspired with my body to make it crave the thing I'm trying to avoid? Y'all. Who knew I could miss dairy this much? Who knew that I relied on it so heavily?


I'm discovering that already, and it's only been one day. I have three. weeks. THREE.


It probably sounds like I'm complaining but that's because I am complaining. It comes at a time where I am already dealing with the pain of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (among other things).


Not to mention, I can't have Keto Coffee because it has milk in it.


Where is the sweet in this bitterness? Why does it feel as if I will have to suffer with multiple chronic diseases? Is there a testimony in this? I've asked God why (which seems silly because to you, it probably pales in comparison to REAL problems), as I've dipped back into a current of depression.
